Full refunds for Textbooks are only available during the following period of time and meeting conditions as outlined below**:

Full refunds for Textbooks are only available during the following periods:

WITHIN 5 BUSINESS DAYS OF PURCHASE


 
 

The following conditions must be met to be eligible for a full refund:

1) Products must be in mint condition (unread and unmarked).
2) No refunds or exchanges if original shrink-wrap is removed or torn.
3) No refunds or exchanges on any portion of the “Textbook Reservation System” and special orders.
4) Must present original cash register receipt.
5) For payments made by VISA, MC, Debit Card, Brock One Card or Gift Certificate, refunds will be issued via same method with original card.  No Cash Refunds will be issued.
6) Must present Student ID or Driver’s License.
7) Bookstore personnel reserve the right to determine the condition of merchandise.

A: GENERAL BOOKS: Trade and Paperbacks;   STATIONERY;    MISC.
1) refunds or exchanges within 4 days of purchase (see exceptions below)
2) must be in perfect condition: not partially read, used, marked, bent, ripped, etc.
3) if original shrink-wrap is torn or removed, we cannot issue refunds, exchanges or credit in the store
4) no refunds, exchanges or credit in the store if packages have been opened, torn, look handled, banged, etc.
FINAL SALE items: (no refunds, exchanges or credit in the store can be issued): all stationery items, calculators, magazines, cards, candy, snacks, stamps, shipping charges, cameras, batteries, tapes, microcassette, bar charts, special orders, special order deposits, etc.

 

B: CLOTHING AND MEMORABILIA
1) Refunds, exchanges, credit in the store within 2 weeks of purchase(includes weekends/holidays).
2) Must be in perfect condition: not worn, washed, marked, animal/human hair, deodorant, makeup, smudges, scented, pen/pencil marks, smoke smell, alcoholic/beverage smell, etc.
3) Original price tags, brand tags, barcode tags must be returned attached on the original product.
4) Sale items will be considered only for exchange or store credit only within 2 weeks of purchase (includes weekends/holidays) and applies only to clothing.
5) Products cannot be refunded if they cannot be resold as new and as originally purchased.
FINAL SALE items: (no refunds, exchanges or credit in the store can be issued): lab coats, goggles, safety glasses, reading glasses, sunglasses, socks, hats, flip flops, etc.

 

C: COMPUTERS, SOFTWARE & ACCESSORIES
1) hardware, software and accessories (not special orders): refunds  will be accepted within 10 days of purchase (includes weekends/holidays)
2) ink cartridges: exchanges or in store credit only within 10 days of purchase (includes weekends/holidays)
3) products must be in the original, unopened box including taped, sealed and/or shrink-wrap. No broken seals or tape or box or plastic cover, etc. Repacked products will not be accepted for refund, exchange or credit in the store
4) refunds, exchanges or credit in store cannot be issued on software licences
5) special order deposits are final and non-refundable in any form.
6) accessories such as cables, disks, CD, CDRW, DVD, clicker(s), etc. are final sale and non-refundable in any form
7) PLEASE NOTE: WARRANTY IS MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY ONLY                                                   

 

D: BROCK UNIVERSITY ONLINE AND PHONE ORDERS

Refunds are only available during the following period:

WITHIN 7 BUSINESS DAYS OF PURCHASE

1) Products must be in mint condition
2) No refunds or exchanges if original shrink-wrap is removed or torn. Clothing must be in perfect condition with price tags
3) No refunds or exchanges on any portion of the Textbook Reservation System, printed course packages, access codes, eBooks, special orders, socks, hats, cables, stationery, calculators and clickers
4) Return must include a copy of original cash register receipt, reason for return, and a copy of the web order packing slip sent with your order
5) Refunds will be issued via the original Visa or MasterCard
6) Customers returning merchandise are responsible for proper packing and for all shipping and handling fees associated with the return
7) The Campus Store will not be held responsible for merchandise lost or damaged in transit
8) Returns received after the refund period has expired will not be accepted without prior authorization
9) Store personnel reserve the right to determine the salability of merchandise
